-8/25    Purchased "new-to-me" black hood on way home from work.  Put on same day for the hell of it.
SEPTEMBER
-9/10   In heavy rains driving home from WIT, engine gets soaked, and hesitates and sputters and dies 7 times over course of 5 miles.
-9/11   Dried out distrubutor cap, and sprayed silicone on all of ignition componants.  Also noticed that clutch was feeling ?different.?  Checked cluth master cylinder and discovered there was no fluid.  Further inspection shows that one of the two bolts attaching the clutch to the transmission was missing, and the remaining one was very loose.  This was due to the heavy shaking and vibrating of the poorly running engine.  Replaced missing bolt, tightened other bolt, bleed clutch lines.
-9/19   while driving engine was ?missing? at higher rpms and under load, like it was 9/10.  Not as badly, never actually stalled.  Replaced distributor cap, rotor, and fuel filter.  Added water remover to tank.  Appears to have solved the problem.

hope to get the rest up soon
