--6-11-2000:  Applied POR-15 to rusted steel Wagon Wheels.  Looks better than the ones you can buy!
--6-17-2000:   Replaced brake shoes and e-brake cables.  Now have a working e-brake!
--6-18-2000:   Had Windshield replaced.  when glass was out, the glass guy noted that the inside of the frame is all rotted out, and should be replaced.  Yet another set-back to the paint-job.
--Mid June, 2000:   Tranny Started making some horrible noises.  Drained oil, and found metal shard. Noise still present with fresh gear oil, and getting worse.  Turns out the bearings were shot and who knows what other damage was done internally.  Bought a used
Borg-Warner T5 5 speed to replace.
---Late June, 2000:   Removed headers and dual exhaust and put stock manifold, catalytic converter, and muffler.  Also put P235 (27")
tires on.  All temporary for inspection.
---Later in June, 2000:   Steering box brace is cracked, most likely from old weak frame, resulting in sloppy steering, and cracking noises.  Made my own
supplemental brace out of 1/4" thick 1" steel tubing.  Had spare brace strengthened with steel gusset plate, ready to be installed.
---7-3, 7-4-2000:   Removed transfercase, junked T176 4 speed tranny, and bellhousing.  Also removed oil pan, to replace severly leaking rear main seal and oil pan gasket.  Replaced seals, clutch, and put on new bellhousing, transmission, and original transfer case on.  Also had to replace driveshafts because of longer transmission.  This new tranny is great. Smooth thru all the gears, which are geared lower, which means better performance, and has an overdrive so I can attain highway speed now!
---7-8-2000:    Went for inspection, and passed without a hitch.  Put 33" tires back on within an hour
---7-15-2000:   Put the headers and glasspacks back on, and put the new frame mounted
spare tire carrier on.
---7-18-2000:    Ordered new steel windshield frame from 4Wheel Drive Hardware.
---7-22-2000:    Replaced failed broken
steering brace with reinforced one.
---7-25-2000:    Replaced leaky clutch slave cylinder.
---7-29-2000:
Repared the grille.  Mount was totally disconnected from grille.  Bolted a 24"L x 3/4" x 3/4" peice of steel angle to bottem of grille.  Applied POR-15 to peice of steel and to rotted steel on grille.  Put all back together, and it is solid as a rock.
---8/4&5/2000:    Re-hung passengerside exhaust, because was rubbing on tranny mount, and was squeaking alot.  Got ready for painting; removed tire carrier, bumper, fender flares. Installed the underside lights, and replaced blown reverse lights switch.
---8/7/2000:     Brought to paint shop, and disassembled further; removed top and hardware, all lights, old windshield frame, etc.  Paint is to be:
"Bright Tangerine" (1996 Ford Mustang).
---8/9/2000:    Picked up Jeep at body shop.  Looks awesome.  Reassembled it and took home.
---8/12/2000:    Put new fender flares on, painted dash and inner walls of tub black.
---8/16/2000:    Got windshield glass swapped into new frame.  Bolted it and it's componants up to Jeep.
---8/19/2000:    Applied POR-15 to rusted and in some places rotted steel doors.  Affixed "CJ-7" and "AMC/Jeep" emblems to rear corners of tub.
---8/20/2K:   Had a photoshoot at the summit of Wachusett Mountain.  Pics up as soon as they get developed.
---8/24/2K:    Replaced leaky clutch master cylinder.
---8/27/2K:   Headers cracked again.  Still runs, but idles rough, and backfires alot.  New Hedman headers are on the way
---9/2/2K:   Replaced cracked headers, and mounted up new driverside exhaust.  also fixed leaky heater hose
---9/9/2K:   Applied Mother's 3 step wax system.  Includes, 1.cleaning, 2.sealing & glazing, and 3.Carnauba wax.
---9/23/2K:  Fixed broken exhaust hanger
---10/15/2K: Installed Black Seat Covers.
---12/28/2K:  Died while driving: blew fuses one after another, to fault of Powermaster alternator.
