2001 |
---1/2/01: Replaced Powermaster alternator with Duralast 94 amp alternator. ---1/6/01: Replaced center console with new one. ---1/7/01: Installed Sunpro Tachometer ---1/13/01: Performed Team Rush Ignition upgrade. see write up ---1/20/01: Blew out new TFI coil, shorted it with RTV Silicone. Bought the correct connector plug, no need for silicone to seal coil wires now. ---2/01-3/01: Finally straightened out the TR Upgrade wiring mess. Had to modify the factory original 151 ci 4 cylinder wiring harness to accept the TFI coil. Ballast resistor was needed, along with diagram for a 151. ---4/21-4/28: Installed a Powertrax Lock-Rite locker in the rear AMC20 axle. The reason it took a week was because the driverside wheel bearing was split, and needed to be ordered, due to the rarity of the older style Moser axle bearings. ---May: Drilled out strap style U-joint Yoke and installed superior u-bolts for attaching u-joint to yoke. ---May: Installed CB antennae on spare tire carrier. ---June: Installed 9" open element air cleaner with K&N Filter. ---7/4: replaced water pump, changed Tranny fluid. ---7/7: replace float bowl gasket on carb. |

---1/1/02: Installed Rubicon Express Swaybar Quick Disconnects ---1/1/02: Installed Con-Ferr Axle Truss Wow, it's been a while since I updated this! ---August: flowmaster true dual exhaust...hopefully a write-up will come soon. ---bought steel half doors on ebay. bought and installed 4WDhardware latch pins --- bought motorcraft 2100 carb...needs to be rebuilt ---September: installed steel half doors. bought and installed AJ's Fiberglass upper doors October: reinstalled thr hardtop for the first time since 2000, because this is my snowy weather vehicle now. ---November: bought and mounted P215 snow tires... looks rediculous...handles amazingly in the snow... well worth the $44ea @ Sam's Club |
