Things to look for in
the "Empire Strikes Back"
-When the
first TIE Fighter in blown to bits by an asteroid, frame-by-frame examination
will show a burning TIE Fighter pilot flying away from the wreckage and
exploding. (Widescreen Edition only)
-When the stormtroopers carry off Han to bee frozen in carbonite, Han's hand
nearly knocks off one of the stormtrooper's helmets, but the stormtrooper plays
it cool and acts like nothing happened.
-When we see C-3P0's head on the conveyer bbelt in Cloud City, the camera has a
reflection on Threepio's droid noggin.
-When the people start to evacuate Cloud Ciity, the last guy appears to be
carrying a strange device. Closer examination will reveal it's an ice-cream
maker. Good luck, ice cream guy.
-In the asteroid scene, there is a potato hhidden among the rocks. Millions of
fans have claimed its existence, but no one has proved it to this day.
Other Empire Strikes Back Quick Info
-The Bounty Hunters. They are not mentiioneed in the credits, nor even really
shown too much. But they dominate the comic world. Here's some inside info on
them.
Boba Fett-Jeremy Bulloch
Boba Fett's Voice-Jason Wingreen (Kelsey the Bartender from "All in the
Family")
Info about Bob Fett: If you listen closely, Boba has jingling spurs. He doesn't
even wear spurs! Look for Old Boba in Attack of the Clones.
Bossk-Alan Harris
This guy worked in all four Star Wars films. Bossk was designed to wear a scuba
suit type outfit, but wearing the suit wasn't easy. Harris could only see
through Bossk's left nostril.
4-LOM-Chris Parsons
This guy mostly did stand in for Anthony Daniels (C-3P0) and played the White
Threepio in A New Hope. He has only recently reprised his role as 4-LOM.
Dengar-Moray Bush
Bush only really did this job because he fit the suit. He was indeed a good
jokester on the set, though.
Zuckuss-Cathy Munro?
There is a lot of Mystery surrounding the Gand bounty hunter. No one really
remembers the gand bounty hunter, and many believe Cathy Munro was just a stage
name.
IG-88-Paul Klein?
All we know for sure about this guy is that he was not played by an actor, but
instead controlled by a special effects supervisor. No one knows for sure if
Paul Klein did it, and we have no evidence so far as to whether the Late Paul
Klein did it or not.
