Jimi Hendrix often used the Gibson Flying V in his live shows. The Flying V has a great look all it's own, like Hendrix himself. Jimi was known to have three different Gibson Flying V's, in two different series models. The first was the psychedelic he self-decorated, the second being a 1968 tobacco sunburst and the third was his custom left -handed, made especially for him by Gibson in 1969.
