This site is dedicated to Jimi Hendrix and is an illustrated look at the guitars he played. While Jimi played many guitars, he didn't play very many different types of the instrument. Although he played a few other very beautiful guitars, he is mostly associated with the Fender Stratocaster. On a handful of occasions, Jimi was also seen playing an acoustic.
We will also take a look at one of the other major components Jimi used to create his amazing sounds, the Marshall Amp. Marshall Amps are known for absorbing a lot of abuse from Jimi.
Most of the drawings on this page are of Guitars and Equipment actually used by Jimi. It should also be known that many of the guitars and their peripherals were custom made for Jimi straight their respective factories.
