Our mission consists of:
*Focusing on promoting community awareness, education, and support regarding depression,
mental illness, suicide prevention and intervention.
*Reducing the stigma concerning depression, mental illness, and suicide.
*Serving as a resource for those affected by suicide and for those who may need help.
Our main focus is on teens in the community at the moment, so we are developing the:
Teen Crisis Teams:
Groups of teens or preteens within the schools or churches trained to spot the
signs of depression or suicide in their peers.
They will be knowledgeable in how to handle the situation if faced with it,
where to go to seek help, if needed, and what to do in case of an emergency.
They will essentially be the gatekeepers for their peers.

* GCHS Crisis Team
                                        * Church Youth Teams (within the school teams)
   * Private School Teams
