Embarkation Process
Get to the pier early.  The ship could be ready to board anytime between 10:30am and 1:00pm.

Luggage larger than 11"x17" will not be permitted through the security machine and must me checked-in with a curbside porter.  Tip the porter between $1.00 to $2.00 per bag.  The dollar bill can be your friend on a cruise.  NOTE:  Make sure you have your documentation in your carry-on bay BEFORE handing your luggage to the porter.  Make sure your carry-on includes a change of clothes and any medications or toiletries you may need.

Once inside you will check in, have your copy of the FunPass that you filled out online.

You may be directed to a waiting area.  You will go through the scanner and get your picture taken.

Take some time when you first board to learn your way around the ship.
Lifeboat Drill
There is a mandatory lifeboat drill at the beginning of the cruise.  They search cabins so you must attend.  Wait until the last possible minute to avoid being pushed to the back.  It takes awhile to go over everything and you can be standing for a while.  The later you get there - the earlier you can leave.
