About Myself.
The Past:
-
-
I was born and raised in Colorado at the foot of the rockies. For my education I have traveled across the country and back again. I guess after all that travelling I settled in Texas.
-
The Present:
-
I am currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbial and Molecular Pathogenesis at the Texas A&M University College of Medicine. I teach classes in infectious diseases, but actually spend most of my time running a research laboratory. My work deals with lung infections that are caused by bacteria, such as tuberculosis and various pneumonias. Thanks to the American Lung Association for funding my laboratory in the beginning. I currently have funding from the National Institutes of Health and the United States Department of Agriculture. Thanks.
-
The Future:
-
Well, who knows at this point what will be in my future? If you know, let me know.
-
When I'm not in the lab, I spend most of my time trying to get some exercise and spending time with my wife and kids. I really enjoy soccer and have always been interested in martial arts.
