The Early Years

Growing Up.

I was actually born in Denver, Colorado on September 26th, 1964 (the year of the dragon). Some people tell me that this makes me a Virgo and others say I'm a Libra. I tend to go with the idea that I am on the cusp (though I think I identify with the Virgo more). I spent maybe six months of my life in Denver and then decided it was time to move to Colorado Springs.

Not much exciting happened in Colorado Springs while I was growing up. At that time, it was a city of approximately 200,000 and it's major business was the tourist industry (it's very beautiful and close to great skiing). Yes, I ski... but I think I prefer cross-country to downhill. I tried out a number of other sports while growing up. Though I think that my favorites are the ones that I have been doing the longest; soccer and martial arts. The picture at the top of this page is of Pike's Peak. There really aren't many mountains that compare to the Rockies.

High School.

I went to William J. Palmer high school. All in all not a bad experience. As I'm sure you can tell I managed to avoid English grammar (boring). I spent the majority of my time focusing on science and math courses. This led to inconsistent results in my grades. However, I did manage to do well enough to get into a decent college.
