The bug hit me in 1994 when I began searching for Indians. As of today, I have not found the first feather. I have found a few idiots and Illiterates. You will never know the relief that came over me when I found my first Captain! Since the onset of this phase in my life, I have electronically metlots of new cousins and have learned more about my roots than anyone in my family.
Some of my lines came from St. Mary's Co., MD and into Kentucky. A few of those surnames are Davis, Gard(i)ner, Goodrum, Lee and Mattingly. The Cremer, Meuser, Piel and Schwiddens came from Dormagen, Germany. The Barrow, Becker, Coleman, Eastwood, Haney and Parsons, I believe, were aliens who appeared in the census records and began to reproduce because I have not found them in any other place. Here you will find my pedigree which starts with me.
My husband's paternal lines came from Ireland. Some of those names are Cavanaugh and Fagan. A few of his maternal lines include Hale, Luker, Seay, Smith, Tucker, Wisdom, and Woodard. Most of them could be found in Virginia, Mississippi, The Carolina's, Tennessee and in Arkansas. Here you will find my husband's pedigree.
My homepage is full of genealogy links that include personal homepages to resources on the net. Hope you find something that interest you, so . . .find something to click on that will get things going!.
Oh, yeah! That search engine sends it's spider around once a month to index
everything, so check back often.
