Shadowdarke
So, I was browsing through the webpages listed in the What's New section of the
Archive a few years back and I saw a story called Ancient Sonata: Adagio, posted by some
strange person known as "EyeofSerpent". It looked interesting, so I read it... and read
and re-read it. Then I pulled up her website and read all of the rest of the stories she
had written. Thus, I was exposed to the 'Corelleverse', the literary home of Corelle
D'Amber and the race of beings known as the Ancients.
The rest, as they say, is history. She graciously allowed me to take part in that creative
wonderland, where a vague idea took hold and blossomed into the being known as Shadowdarke,
the Healer. Also known as the Hermit. Unlike the other Ancients, he chooses to avoid most
confrontations, when possible. Nevertheless, he is a force to be reckoned with. He is the
embodiment of dichotomy: of light and dark, of right and wrong, of good and evil. He is
both hero and villian. He is... Shadowdarke.
