| Fescue: Fescue is referred to as a cool season grass because it can endure cold temperatures but decling in summer's heat. There are numerous turf type fescues available. Light requirements are sun to light shade. |

| Zoysia: There are two popular varieties of Zoysia - Meyer and Emerald. Meyer forms a more dense carpet that is extremely wear resistant and is used mostly on golf courses or high traffic areas. Yet Emerald has a dark emerald green color and is moderately shade tolerant. It too stands up well to foot traffic. For both types the light requirements are full sun to moderate shade. |

| Centipede : Centipede grass is sometimes referred to as the "lazy person's grass" because this type of grass requires less maintenance than most other types of turf grasses. This grass hugs the yard well and can develop into a dense, weed resistant turf. The light requirements are full sun or dappled shade. Bermuda: Bermuda grass is the most popular of all. Bermuda grass germinates quickly and grows rapidly. Light requirement is full sun. |
