I am partial to steam, and the NYC system, Pennsy and C&O. I will be adding new things all the time, so stop back often.
I have been collecting toy trains for about five years. I love the new streamlined locomotives by MTH, and think they are making some of the best products available today. My philosophy is simple, collect what you like, and don't be afraid to take them out of the carton. Don't buy something and leave it in the box hoping to make a huge profit in the future. After all we are talking about "Toy Trains", and if you can't play with them they aren't nearly as much fun.
