| CBC Television CBC Television arose from the former Union TV, or UTV, broadcasting
network.
There are fourteen different stations scattered throughout
the Commonwealth, with at least one in each republic. This wide diversity allows for
a great degree of local control over what programs are aired during the regionally alotted
time.
CBCTV is committed to airing entertaining and
thought-provoking content. It views the offering of alternative programming as its
prime mandate and has taken to this task with great enthusiasm. Among those programs
aired, they include highly acclaimed news programs, documentaries, comedies, cultural
programs and Commonwealth-produced movies. |
