I now have a guess as to the sex of the baby. I just wasn't paying enough attention before! My nails are chipping like crazy and I don't like chocolate anymore. These things also happened with Caylen's pregnancy. So my guess is that it is a girl. Deb and Henry both think it's a boy so we'll see who's right.
I've been very moody lately. My moods have just been more extreme than usual. I find that small things, instead of just being a little irritating, really make me mad and instead of just being happy I get giggly. I hope I don't drive poor Jason crazy!
Still going to bed early at night, but not feeling so tired during the day.
I'm 8 weeks 1 day pregnant
I haven't updated in a while, but only because nothing new is happening. That of course is a good thing! But of course it makes my journal entries few and far between. I guess right now is the "boring" part because I can't feel the baby move, I haven't heard the heartbeat yet and I don't even really feel pregnant (besides the bulging tummy of course).
I guess in another 2 months or so all the fun stuff will happen, and soon after that we'll hopefully find out the sex so Deb and Henry can think of a name to call this little one.

Still nothing new with the pregnancy. I'm not feeling sick, it's too early to be uncomfortable, it's too early to feel movement, so most of the time I don't even feel pregnant. Still have the tummy bulge though, and I guess a few minor things, but this pregnancy has been so easy!!
It's been so HOT around here lately though. I'm not a person who enjoys hot, hot days anyway, but you add being pregnant onto that and it gets pretty unbearable at times. Yesterday I had a cool bath and that helped a lot. Looks like I may have to go to the lake again this year.
Jason has informed me that I'm much moodier this pregnancy than with any other I've had. I tend to agree with him because I've been so up and down in the last couple of weeks. Like I said before, I don't just get a little irked with things, I get mad, and I don't just get happy, I get giggly and silly. It must be very annoying for those around me I'm sure. But on the other hand we've been going through a couple things in the last 2 weeks or so that have been stressful so that may have something to do with it.

It's been such a long time since I wrote! That's just because nothing new is happening.
I've just been spending my time in the summer heat wishing it would cool down. I drink so much water I think I'll drown soon, but still I'm thirsty all the time.
I've started having to have a tums before bed almost everynight again. All the normal things pregnancy brings.
On July 3rd I have my first prenatal appointment, so hopefully I'll have something excited to report after that visit, like a heartrate or somthing. And also next weekend I am planning on meeting a few other surrogates from Western Canada so that should be fun too.
I have a picture of Deb and Henry just so everyone can see who I'm talking about all the time :-)
