Unguided In Alaska
At last, the book is finished!  As you may know we went unguided for caribou in Alaska and we were successful in harvesting 3 record class animals in the five days we were there.  We saw over 1000 animals during our time on the tundra and saw additional animals as well.  We saw red fox, Bald eagle, Ptarmigan and a marmot.  (ie. a alaskan ground hog).  We feasted on caribou tender loin and ptarmigan brest.  We endured 24 hours of rain totaling 4.5 inches which was accompanied by 45 to 50 mph winds.  much to our pleasure our tent with stood the storm.  We saw moose and bear from the plane as well as Mt. McKinley and glaciers.  We stayed at Port Alsworth one night and enjoyed the small Alaskan village and its people.  We had a great time and if you continue through the following web pages I will tell you more and show you more pictures as well.  Come along for the adventure.  Click the continue button at the bottom of the page to go to the next page, or send me an e-mail and I will work with you to get a copy of my infomational Book.

These Caribou are 325 class animals and would likely have made Pope and Young!
