1. YOUR NEED
Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God
Rom 3:10-11 "There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.
Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?
Isa 64:6 All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.
John 3:3 "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
2. YOUR HELPLESSNESS
John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Gal 2:16 know that a man is not justified by observing the law,
James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
Prov 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
3. GOD'S PROVISION FOR YOUR NEED
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Isa 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
2 Cor 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
1 Pet 3:18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,
4. GOD'S PROMISE TO MEET YOUR
NEEDS
John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.
Phil 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Heb 7:25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Jude 1:24 To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy--
CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARD SIN
Acts 3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
PUT YOUR TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST
Acts 16:31 "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--
"
MAKE YOUR DECISION TODAY!
Rom 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
SUGGESTED PRAYER
| God the Father, I
thank you for making yourself known to me. I realize that I am a sinner
and in need of your gift of salvation. I also realize that there is
nothing that I can do to cover my sins without the shedding of Jesus'
blood for me. I realize that it is by Faith Alone in Jesus Christ that I
can enter into your heaven. Lord Jesus, I thank you for loving me enough to suffer and die for my sins. I understand that if I was the only person here on the earth, that you would still have died on that cross for me. I accept your gift of salvation believing that your payment for my sins puts me in a right relationship with God. I also understand that I can never lose my salvation. I now believe that once you save me, you save me for eternity. Thank you Holy Spirit for convicting of my sin, and helping me realize that I am in need of a savior. I know that at the moment of my salvation, I will be indwelt by you to help me live a life pleasing to God. |
