The evolutionary scenario (big bang cosmology, abiogenesis, a 4.6-billion-year-old earth, and evolution) is, I maintain, an unsatisfactory explanation for the origin and history of life and the universe. In fact, it is false. There is another model, one you are unlikely to hear of in the science classrooms. It is the creation model,which holds that the origin and history of life and the universe as revealed in the Bible, which is inspired by God and inerrant, are literally true. God created the universe, earth included, in a perfect state over a time period of 6 ordinary 24-hour Earth days about 6000 years ago. The sin of mankind resulted in a curse upon all creation, which drastically changed the way the universe has operated since then. Approximately 1656 years later, the state of mankind had become so wicked that God sent a worldwide flood to wipe out humanity, save Noah's family aboard the ark. This flood resulted in the majority of the fossil record (and there may have been a period of drastically accelerated nuclear decay during the flood, which would explain why radiometric dating methods come up with ages so far beyond the age of the universe).

Answers in Genesis (AiG): an oustanding resource of vital information with countless useful articles on the topic of creation/evolution, as well as other important issues. I'd give this site the best rating on any grading scale of excellence you'd care to use.
Institute for Creation Research (ICR): a useful resource of information, and their staff does a great amount of important research. Their bookstore is excellent, and they also have a graduate school. Though their articles are not quite as useful (at least not in my opinion) as those of AiG, I still recommend this site as a must-visit, and they have a lot of information concern Dr. Humphreys' new cosmology, which I urge everyone to consider.
True Origin Archive: an invaluable resource of many incredible articles, and a wonderful (and truthful) alternative to the infamous Talk.Origins Archive of (mis-)information.. Their articles, feedback, rebuttals, and book reviews are outstanding. Tim Wallace has done an excellent job on this site, and I recommend it very highly.
www.creationism.org: a lot of good articles and links to other wonderful sites. This site has great work on it, especially that of Thomas Heinze.
Revolution Against Evolution: This site has a long list of articles, many of which are wonderful. They have done much good work and accumulated quite a bit of information.
www.evolution-facts.org: this site has a lot of excellent information and, while I do not concur with the entirety of the site's contents, it is well worth checking out anyway
Kent Hovind: while Kent persists in using a number of outdated and/or doubtful arguments, and while I disagree with several of his positions on certain issues, his site is well worth looking at, especially for the debates and the stories/poems in his FAQ section. Just use the information found at his site with caution, since he uses some information of dubious veracity.
Steve Grohman: Steve and his family travel around the country, and he gives creation seminars. While Steve uses some of the same doubtful information as Kent and shares several of his views that I would now disagree with (though I was once in absolute perfect agreement), I would gladly recommend Steve Grohman and his seminars, having personally attended one of them once. I left with an expanded knowledge and an increased confidence in the truth of creation.
