Additional Work
I recommend replacing any seal you remove with viton.  Here's where I get mine.

If you see any leaking fuel or have lots of air in your clear fuel lines you may want to fix them during the conversion when you have the manifold off.

Common sources of air in the lines are the pre-filter o-ring, shut off valve o-ring, any of the fuel line o-rings.  I also replaced the o-rings on the main fuel filter.

A common source of fuel leaks is the injection pump delivery valves.  I had a leak and replaced mine with Viton.   Everyone I know who has a 98 or 99 has had to change them to stop a leak.

Fuel lines are good to replace if they are really yellow or hard to see through.  You want to be able to see bubbles in the fuel that cause problems.  Mine were fine so they were not done.

Procedures

Here are some searches for the Mercedesshop.com website.   These were some of the ones I found.  There are probably other good ones as well so keep searching.
