Arghhhhhhh.
It hasn't stopped raining
for 2 weeks now, and I have done very little to the Alfa. I am
so annoyed with myself. Why did I not wait until next spring
before starting the conversion?
I am hoping and praying
for a couple of dry days, so as I can finalise bolting the front
suspension and steering back together, to enable all four wheels
being placed on terra-firma, rather than being 600mm up in the
air.
Hopefully, I will post
some pics of my progress, when the camera starts to behave
itself again. (SOON)
GIVE ME
STRENGTH.......................
There are 2 Kamm-tail
Spiders for sale near Glasgow (UK). One is an American import
which is partially stripped, with 99% of the parts inside or in
the boot. This one is rust free and solid.
The other is famous, in
the fact that it was in the local newspaper, for self
combusting, just a wee while after it was purchased from a local
classic dealer for the princely sum of £8000.00. This car was
immaculate, and came from South Africa, and is right hand drive.
The interior is cremated, the doors are burned, but the front
and rear of the poor thing are reasonably unscathed.
The vendor is looking for
£500.00 for both, which seems reasonable to me, either to make
one good car from the two, or for parts.
(If I had space, they
would be mine....Oh yes, they would be mine)
Drop me a line if you want
any more info on [email protected].
