Well, here goes. My Spider is a Series 4, manufactured on 29th January 1990, and was delivered to its' first owner in Germany. As far as I am aware, the car was imported into the UK in 1998, being re-registered on 13 August of that year, and converted to right hand drive for a lady in St Albans.

This owner kept the car until 08 August 2001, when it was registered in her boyfriends' name, again in St Albans, then on 28 February 2002, I purchased the car from a car dealer in Edinburgh. 

The car is totally original in it's appearance, with black coachwork, tan leather/alcantara interior, electric luxuries such as windows and mirrors and a factory fitted hardtop.

The general condition of the car is pretty good, though I am sure that I will find some things to do. All I have been doing is driving when the weather has been good. (not very often in Scotland)
