Well, here goes. My Spider is a Series 4, manufactured on 29th January 1990, and was delivered to its'' first owner in Germany.

The car was imported into the UK in 1998, being re-registered on 13 August of that year for a lady who lived in St Albans.

This owner kept the car until 08 August 2001, when it was registered in her boyfriends'' name, again in St Albans, then on 28 February 2002, I purchased the car.

The car is totally original in it's appearance, with black coachwork, tan leather/alcantara interior, electric luxuries such as windows and mirrors.

The car also benefits from power steering, five speed gearbox, a twin cam 2.0 litre engine with Bosch Fuel Injection, 15" alloy wheels, Blaupunkt Radio/Cassette and a Clifford Immobiliser.

The car is in good overall condition and exhibits a patina consummate with the age of the car.

There is a comprehensive history file with receipts totaling in excess of £10k covering servicing, repairs, parts and sundries, which verifies the 147132 kilometres speedometer reading.

The car is MOT''d and Taxed until October 2004, and is driven every week to keep it ticking over. It runs on unleaded fuel and has been fantastically reliable whilst in my stewardship. I will be very sad to see it go.
