What's new in version 0.8

Added support for drag&drop to the GUI version: now you can access JAxe functionalities just by dropping a file on the buttons in JAxe window.

What's new in version 0.7.1

The command line version has an even smarter progress bar...

What's new in version 0.7

Now the compare feature works with directories too. Moreover, the command line version has a smarter progress bar ;-)

What's new in version 0.6

Now JAxe functionalities can be easily accessed from the command line - see the manual page for the detailed syntax.

What's new in version 0.5

JAxe now supports reassembling of files split using the Unix split utility (whose outcome is a set of files with names ending in .aa, .ab, .ac, and so on).

What's new in version 0.4.1

Fixed a bug which affected JAxe on systems running MacOS X and JDK 1.4.1_02. Thanks to Shaun and Mailman who pointed this out and helped fixing it!

What's new in version 0.4

Now skins can be loaded directly from .zip files in the skins directory, without the need of unzipping them in separate subdirectories.
Moreover, the results of CRC32 computations can be copied to the system clipboard (just select it with the mouse and copy it).

What's new in version 0.3

Added the feature of automatically zipping the single parts of the file which is being split.
This gives you files like .001.zip, .002.zip, ecc. instead of .001, .002, ecc., which eliminates the problems of file extension replacement when the parts are downloaded using a (well known...) web browser.
Reassembly of such files is handled automatically by JAxe, and can still be performed by HJSplit as well, once you manually extract all .001, .002, ecc. files from the .001.zip, .002.zip, ecc. files.

What's new in version 0.2.3

Speeded up program launch.

What's new in version 0.2.2

Fixed one more bug (in the cancel function).

What's new in version 0.2.1

Fixed errors in dialog titles and tooltips.

What's new in version 0.2

Finally implemented the CRC32 and file compare features...
