Hello out there in webland. Okay here's the skinny, or not so skinny of it all.....I'm still holding at 199, which is okay because I am still under the 2's. But in the amazing news....I bought a pair of jeans this past weekend. I couldn't help it, I was so sick of looking so frumpy in the jeans I had because they had gotten so big. So I walked into Lane Bryant (yes I know I said I would never walk in there again, unfortunately no one in the mall carried anything over a size 10). I was in and out of the dressing room 3x's, trying one after the other, going down in size...hehehe!!!!! The last time I bought a pair of jeans I was a size 24, and now I am a size 16 in the low risers!!!!!! I am almost half the size I was a year ago. If I had my cell phone on me I would have called everyone in it.
Well that was Saturday night, we had a surprise party to go to. And I have to admit I looked good. Even my BF said a lot of people were commenting that I loked great. I felt great, the party was boring, but I felt great. I'm feeling so good that this weekend I am going through all my clothes and I'm going to find everything that no longer fits, and give it all away. I never intend to go back to a size 24...NEVER!!!!!!
Sunday was pretty cool too. We went to dinner with my parents and my sister and their other halfs. It ended up being an engagement celebration, and we got our first engagement gift. I felt like the bell of the ball. What made it even better was two more things, one my dad going up to my BF (oops....I mean my fiance...lol), and telling him that as long as we are happy he is happy for us. The other was asking my sisters to stand by me. First I asked my lil sis, when we set a date will you be my maid of honor? You should have seen her face, priceless. My older sis probably thought I would just ask her to be a bridesmaid, but I asked her the same question with a twist, she's going to be my matron of honor (she's married). My mom said that I made their night asking them. I couldn't have asked for a better pair to stand by me on my wedding day, whenever that might be. They are my best friends, and I am so lucky to have them.
Okay so it's getting late and I am still tired from yesterday. Not that I did anything, I drove all the way to work then called in sick and went home. I was sooo miserable. I felt like I had to throw up all day, and felt so dizzy and light headed too. I know now is not the time to be taking time off without pay, but I needed the day off. I don't think I could have made it through and I probably would have ended up feeling worse if I had not gone home.
I'll try and catch up with you guys soon, hopefully before Halloween!!!!!! If I don't see you guys before then, have a very Spooky Halloween!!!!!
