It's Memorial Weekend, which means I have an extra day this weekend to work on the quilt. I made a tractor pattern and found a couple of patterns online for a cow and horse. I "cheated" on the tractor tires. The first pattern I drew had octagon shaped pieced wheels, but I wanted them to be round and decided to applique them instead. My first attempt at applique, so I sure hope they don't fall off!
So, what can you make from a green seed coat, a yellow seed hat, a couple shirts and a piece of gray flannel from a shirt patch? A John Deer Tractor of Course!
