| The fire leaped across the street and ignited the Goldstein Opera House, located at the corner of North Meridian and East Main Streets. It then claimed the other businesses in the block including the Wm. Meade saloon, Hurst restaurant, W. H. Slough barbershop, Wm. Keen & Joe Humphrey's Saloon, Pat Hagerman poolroom, Jim Dobbs' Saloon, Chinese Laundry, and the depot and freight house. |
