Update #8: A Real Clusterf*ck.

Radio Downtime: I haven't written an album review or written anything music related for the page in a while, so a link to my Sonicnet station was a good way to say "This place is still sort of  about music ." The playlist is mostly alternative rock and east coast rap, but that's subject to change. It's taking longer than expected to weed out the stuff I don't want. I mean, nobody listens to The Smiths that much.  There's something there for everyone, but it's still me music. It's mine, damn it!! Mine!!

NIteshift Recaps: After a six month layoff, I had the honor of recapping the first two shows of the new millennium. The unexpected passing of the webmaster of the Niteshift website left me without a place to post my work. With the departure of Byron Saunders after the March 29th program, the search for a new sidekick for Mike Sargent  is now underway. The upcoming carousel of co-hosts (a mix of  NS mainstays and brand new voices)  should make for interesting radio. And if you don't listen, you can act like you do by reading my recaps. I won't start writing new recaps until the new Niteshift site is up, so I may add some more of the older ones to the archive on this site.

:  Do I have deep thoughts to share with the world? Nope. Will I give exciting, hour by hour accounts of how I spent my day? Hell, no. The truth is, it's so damn easy to get ideas from my head to the 'net using the LJ client compared to composing these pages. It's quickly becoming my favorite part of the site. I post about three times a week and you have the option of leaving snappy responses to anything I write about there.
