All students have the right to learn. Making a comfortable learning environment is important in our class. The following behavior plan will help to create this.

Rules

1. Be Respectful

Keep all body parts and

unkind words to yourself.

Respect school and personal property.

2. Be Responsible

Always walk in the classroom, hallways, and buildings.

Listen carefully and follow directions.

Raise your hand to be called on.

Be nice and help others

3. Work and Play Safely

Consequences

Warning

The student will be reminded of appropriate behavior.

Time Out

The student will be asked to return to their seat

until the teacher is able to discuss

their actions privately with them.

Loss of Recess

The student will lose a portion of recess

for wasting learning time.

Conference

The teacher will contact the parent.

Rewards

Making good choices results in praise, smiles, hugs, encouragement, stickers, prizes, awards, etc.
