     Since there isn’t much time for Duke’s story, I’m just going to get right into Duke’s mail.
     Here’s the first one:

Dear Duke,
I am a huge fan of yours. Since Halloween is coming, I’ve been reading lots of your stories. They are so scary. Where did you get the title, Dukebumps?

Dear Scary Larry: You might want to check the title again since a small furry mouse is about as frightening as a mouse. I think you’re thinking of another series about geese with bumps.

Dear Duke,
My associate and I think you are a truly gifted writer. Perhaps that Jarful of Stuff program is holding you back. Have you considered dumping the grump and doing your own show?

Dear Star, [SOUND: ripping up letter] whoops. Dump the grump!?

Dear Duke, Why is my letter always last? That’s not fair. How come I can’t be first? And how do you always end your stories?
