Lyle was brought into the Legion during the UP draft. As a child prodigy, he had created a serum that worked with his physiology to bend light around his body at will. He formed the Legion Espionage Squad to undertake secretive missions for the team and created the Legion Flight Rings utilizing a special metal accidently created by Brainiac 5, with whom he has a friendly rivalry. Lyle had been elected Legion leader for a time period but resigned the position because his abilities lend themselves to a more secretive, low-profile status.
Lyle has a unique ability to make all or part of his body invisible. With extreme effort, he can also make other people or objects invisible.
During the year that half of the Legion was "Lost" in uncharted space, Lyle worked with Brande and the Legion SUB-terfuge Squad to prepare for the reformation of the Legion. |
