Summary of the Legion #5:
Saturn Girl, Spark, Wildfire and Invisible Kid have travelled to the
Lost Galaxy on a mission to recruit Shikari's people, the Kwai, to
return to their galaxy and assist them with the new Threshold
transportation technology.  After discovering some tsarin crystals
radiating electrical energy, they are confronted by a band of Kwai
warriors who have mistaken them as desecrators of the area
which had been set up as a shrine to the victims of the Progenitor.
After explanations are exchanged, the Legionnaires are  taken to
the Kwai township which has become a gathering place for many
alien races whose civilizations were destroyed by the Progeny.
They also discover that many Progeny are living in the township and have been excused from their past crimes by the Kwai leader.  Saturn Girl is distressed at the presence of the Progeny and infuriated that they are allowed to remain, which causes a confrontation between her and Invisible Kid.  Upon meeting with the Kwai matriarch, Enkenet, they explain their need for the Kwai path-finders but Enkenet is reluctant to allow her people to become embroiled in the problems within the UP.  She allows the Legionnaires to remain while she thinks it over.  Spark and Wildfire depart to question other beings in the township for information regarding Live Wire and Invisible Kid and Saturn Girl find a group of aliens recruiting new members for their organization, the Credo, which has the mission to destroy any last traces of the Progenitor, which includes the Progeny.  Saturn Girl storms off after Invisible Kid points out that the Credo is speaking similar prejudices that she was exhibiting towards the Progeny, even if they are more radical.  An embittered young Kwai warrior joins the Credo and leads them to a slum-like area where the Progeny have gathered.  Spark and Wildfire confront the Credo who are killing the Progeny but Spark is injured and Wildfire is disabled.  Spark signals for help.  Invisible Kid is frozen and shot before Saturn Girl arrives and finds a Progeny child huddled in terror and realizes that she was being unfair towards the Progeny.  She telepathically assaults the Credo and warns them that the Progeny is under the protection of the Legion before she forces them to leave.
After they have tended to Invisible Kid's wounds they are taken to meet with Enkenet for her answer to their request for help.  The Credo leave the township and join back with the rest of their group on a distant planet.  The Credo's leader is revealed to be Singularity.  After discovering that the Legion has returned and is protecting the Progeny, Singularity orders his troops to prepare for travel, leaving behind destruction and many dead Progeny impaled upon spikes.
