| Every Christmas I fly back home to Cyprus and take my dog with me. So I have a couple of tips if you're planning to do the same: Always let the airline know that you're bringing the dog with you. That way they'll prepare a special compartment in the luggage in case the dog is not allowed in the cabin. Which brings me to my second point: Airlines usually allow dogs up to 5kg (including the transportation cage) to go in the passenger cabin. But experience tells me they're willing to overllok a couple of pounds and give you an extra seat next to yours to put the cage in! |
