Maguro
Maguro is Japanese name for Tuna. Tuna is the most popular sushi. Most people love its taste. If you first try to eat raw fish, I recommend trying tuna. Tuna itself is little bit taste fishy, but if you eat as sushi with soy-sauce, it tastes wonderful and melts away in your mouth.
Ebi
Ebi is Japanese name for Shrimp. This shrimp is once boiled and then cooled, so this is not raw. If you are not brave enough to try raw fish, I recommend trying shrimp.
Sake
Sake is Japanese name for Salmon. As you expect from its appearance, it tastes little bit greasy but salty-sweet. If you eat it with Ponzu sauce (special Japanese sauce--you can ask sushi-chef about it), its tasts less greasy and you can enjoy its wonderful taste.
Hirame
Hirame is Japanese name for Flatfish. It looks like really fishy, but it tastes very plain. It tastes great with Ponzu sauce.
Tako
Tako is Japanese name for Octopus. Like Ebi, it is also boiled once, so it is not raw. You cannot chew Tako easily, but the more you chew, the more it tastes. You can eat Tako either with soy-sauce or sweet-sauce.
