[12-3-02] Whoa...already December
Hello People...
Think we forgot to say thanks for people who went to Mitsuwa..
And now its time for more stuff
Starting from this week, every Day 1s, we are going to sell Ramen at F114.
So people come help us out, buy some ramen...
(Ramen = Cup Noodles, if you dont know...)
And we are planning to make some Onigiri during lunch, so you can also come to that as well.
If you dont know what Onigiri is, then come and see for yourselves! *Evil Grin*
Well I am done...*vanishes*

[10-30-02] D'oh.
So sorry...for you know what...
Haloween Animes went down the drain...
But o well....
Better get ready for our next event which is Mitsuwa!
I need people to either come to F114 or simply print this permission form and get it signed by parents and all that stuff...
Well me go now...
Happy Halloween Everyone!

   [10-29-02] Dayumn.

I'll be damned if anything was to go right.

Japan Club's second event is coming up on Friday, November 22. It's the Fall Mitsuwa Trip, so read up about it in the events page.

Happy Halloween.

- Tim Torres

   [10-21-02] This is Halloween!

BOO! Heh heh. Gotcha!

Japan Club's second event is coming up already, so you better get ready! On Tuesday, October 29th will be the Japan Club Halloween Double Feature! First, we'll show one of the best episodes of Cowboy Bebop, Toys in the Attic, then Blood: The Last Vampire! All you action/horror fans should be EXCITED!! But, uh, since both features are a bit on the SHORT side, those of you who stick around long enough (that oughtta be everybody dammit, or you don't get any credit ~_^) can choose to watch a THIRD anim? See ya soon!

- Tim Torres

   [10-14-02] Holler back, young 'uns
Thanks again to everyone who showed up to see Sanjuro, Master of Disguise. It was, indeed, a fantastic movie and we encourage all those who enjoyed our feature presentation to watch the particular director's (Akira Kurosawa) greatest work, Seven Samurai. We will not be showing it at the club due to its length, but definitely check it out.
Despite an attempted ousting by an unnamed authority (not katy), I am still vice-president.
As my contribution to the website I created a new top banner. Holla back.
- Joe Ishikura, everyone's number one homey

[10-13-02] MoO? (I dont have a title for today..)

Thank you everyone for showing up at our first event...
Although the movie did not seem to interest too many people...I noticed a lot of people did show up...so thats a good thing...
And dont worry...things wont be all so boring...so keep coming!!
Just replaced the 'Forms' to the 'Forums' section (whoa..confusing)
People who are bored can talk about stuff thats going on..
And I also forgot to put our Treasurers in the 'About Us' section...
So me added two of our members in...(Very Sorry...^^)
Well I am done for today...^^/

[9-29-02] First event, flyers, and stuff

It's been a while since the last update, and I apologize for that. I'm also sorry for last Thursday's cancellation of the Sanjuro viewing, but that was due to some unforseen circumstances. So, we're gonna try again this Thursday, in the cafeteria, after school!

[9-29-02] First event, flyers, and stuff

HI! First, I'd like to say arigatou to Dong-Ha for scraping up such a spiffy website for us. THANKS, DONG! This is something I hope MOST of you will use during your membership to the Japan Club, because this is where ALL events and information will be posted, and that, of course, is invaluable to you. We've also got some info on our officers, some omoshiroi links, and we will, hopefully, have a forum up soon so we can start our own l'il online community!

Anyway, I am Tim Torres, your president? and although it doesn't seem like I do much but babble on and on I do pull many strings around here. But since you don't care about THAT, let's move on to...

OUR FIRST REAL EVENT! We'll be showing Sanjuro, an Akira Kurosawa film, in the Cafeteria this Thursday after school, so PLEASE, show up for the first event! There will be food, or you can always bring your own. We won't always have our film screenings in the cafeteria, so please, take advantage of your food-bringing!

But yes, we will be showing a LOT of movies in this club, including more Kurosawa live-action stuff, and a fair share of anime. Because what's a Japan Club without ludicrious amounts of anime?

Club sign-ups have been extended due to the mysterious absence of our flyers. Yes, we DID hang some up (admittedly, not a whole lot, but a substantial amount) but they are noticeably GONE. Which certainly fries my beans because flyers are the only useful form of advertising in our school. When was the last time YOU ever looked at those television monitors? Television monitors? Yeah, exactly.

Well, enough bitching. Can't use the club's own website as my own personal soapbox. REMEMBER! SANJURO! AND SIGN-UPS!

[9-18-02] Another Year of Japan Club...

Kon-ni-chi-wa (or maybe its o-ha-yo or kon-ban-wa...)...well anyways...hi...

Well...Sakayama sensei...and our Mr.President Tim wanted a website for japan club...
So...here it is....(didnt really get time to work on it...but o well...maybe we'll decide to change it during the middle of the year..)
This is where all the stuff is announced...questions are answered...and comments are given...
well...i am done babbling...everybody have a nice day...
whooo...
