Jan Vaugh's Rèsumè
I am a Computer Literacy Teacher with the
New Castle County Vocational Technical
School district. My career goal is to make learning interesting and fun
yet effective, by incorporating technology in all aspect of teaching. At
the end of a semester, my students should feel confident and comfortable
to use the Internet to expand their knowledge beyond the limits of a classroom.

Education
I attended the University of Rochester and
graduated with a B.A. in Health and Society. Health and
Society is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on social
science and includes courses ranging from Sociology, Medical
Anthropology, Applied Statistics, Human Behavior, Biology, Chemistry,
etc.
I received most of my computer training from
the AmeriCorps "KickStart" Program.
AmeriCorps is a national
service program; It is the state side equivalent to the PeaceCorps.
I joined the program after college because I wanted to give back to
the community. This was a very rewarding opportunity. I taught
teachers, administrators, senior citizens, and other community members
throughout the state of Delaware, to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft
Excel, Internet, and E-mail.
