When Most People think of Jaguars they think the jungle or rainforest. Thats true. But Jaguars are Found  from the southern United States to northern Argentina, but especially in the dense forests of Central America and Brazil.

Jaguars once ranged areas around Southern Texas in  North America, through Mexico and into Brazil and Argentina. Today, the Jaguar is only found to inhabit South America, and parts of Central America.
Jaguars are one of the few cats that aren't afraid to be around water. Infact, this might be hard to believe but the Jaguar is an ecellent swimmer! and is genrally found around lakes or rivers.
Or marshy areas or wet grasslands. They prefer dense forests or swamps with a good supply of water.
