| After a long journey down 90 we finally arrived at Big Bend National Park. A beautiful location, situated right on the border with Mexico. The Rio Grande River runs through the Park and the whole of the Chisos Mountain Range is encompassed within it. Stupendous. We camped down by the River and spent an enjoyable few days exploring the south west section of the Park. Unfortunately, we were only able to explore by road, as dogs, in National Parks, are not allowed on trails. |

| All five of us enjoyed our time in Big Bend. We came face to face with many animals we had never seen before such as Javelinas (pig like animals) and Road Runners. We also experienced a major storm (again) when we quickly learnt how to take our awning down in a force 70 million gale. |
