| One thing that we have discovered on our journey through the US is that you are allowed to camp in National Forests, for free, for a period of 14 days. Good news if you are on a tight budget like us. The National Forests are often situated right next to National Parks and are outstandingly beautiful in their own right. They are also free of petty rules and our dogs can run on any trail they want. What more can a dog owner ask for? |
| When we arrived at Bill Evans Lake there were quite a few other RVs there, taking advantage of the 14 day camping rule. We found a spot right by the Lake and were able to take the dogs on a few strenuous walks. Just what they needed. The most strenuous walk took place on Jane's 28th Birthday. A day she will never forget... |
