Nevada
In many "unique" ways Las Vegas was like a breath of fresh air. Apart from New Orleans, we have not come across anywhere else where they have such a liberal attitude towards drinking and smoking. Many cities throughout the U.S. have adopted anti-smoking laws, for example, Boston and New York no longer allow people to smoke in bars. Fortunately, Vegas welcomes vice.
RV and Doggy Tips! Circus Circus RV park is situated right on the strip. This means only a short walk to partake in some of lifes pleasures (if you like gambling. Liz). The park also has a dog run so your pooches can run free (if they're gerbil sized).
Vegas wasn't all fun and games though. As we had stalled again on our way into the city, something was still wrong with the van. Sitting naked, sweating in 110 F heat, we contemplated selling the van. Cutting short our trip to the U.S. was unbearable so we called mechanic number 14 who replaced the RV's fuel filter. He guaranteed this would solve the problem. Not taking any chances, we decided to leave Nevada in the "cool" of the night. We left behind the bright lights of Vegas and headed towards Utah.
