Mohiota


It is a railway station on Larkana-Habibkot section of the railway, 7 miles from Larkana. Here are some lofty mounds. The place was the capital of Portikanus at the time of the invasion of Alexander. According to Cunningham "Mahiota" means a capital city. At one time it was an important city.

Kambar

It is 13 miles from Larkana with which it is connected by a metalled road. Close to Kambar is a lake "Drigh Lake" which is a good shooting place for ducks and partridges 6 miles from Kambar on the bank of the Ghar Canal Near Fatehpur is the tomb of Shahal Mohammad, the man who dug the Ghar canal.
