Situated on the Rohri Lahore main railway line. 51 miles from Rohri, it contains the ruins of an old town measuring two miles in circumference which is said to have been founded by a Rajput chief Amar. Ferishta mentions that the town was taken in assault by Mehmood of Ghazni when the Raja Biji Pal was killed.
