Located at a distance of 125.5 kilometers from the bustling city of Karachi,

Formerly called the Kalri Lake it was built from 2 smaller lakes to
supply the water needs of Karachi. The complex was built by. PTDC but has
been taken over by STDC which improved it and manages it.
The Recreational Complex at Keenjhar comprises beautifully built independent,
fully air-conditioned cabanas and a conveniently located high quality restaurant
overlooking the lake. The lake encompasses an area of 65 kilometers offering
to the anglers a huge variety of fish as well as other sporting activities.
For tourists coming from Karachi, it is a must to stop enroute at the
Chaukundi Tombs, Bambhore and Haleji Lake as well as Thatta Once at the
resort, however the visitor forgets everything in favor of serenity and
calm of this beautiful lake.
Unique Features:
Each Cabana is a fully independent unit having two levels. There is a sitting
room and a dining room on the ground level The Keenjhar Lake. Resort Restaurant
has a unique architecture. The interior is pleasant comfortable and enticing.
It offers continental as well as local cuisine. Guests are encouraged to
bring their catch and the kitchen staff gladly prepares it to their liking.

How to Reach There:
All roads to Keenjhar lead from Karachi or Hyderabad. From Karachi, the
Keenjhar Lake is 125.5 km and from Hyderabad it is 83 km. STDC also arranges
bookings as well as transportation there.
