Punching his way to victory, Hussain Shah caught the spotlight after he won the coveted bronze medal for Pakistan in the 1986 Seoul Olympics becoming one of the two Pakistani Olympians to have won an individual medal in the games. Hussain's hatrack of gold in 1984,1985 and 1989 SAF games made him the uncontested boxing giant of Asia. Syed Hussain Shah has been conferred with the Sitra-i-Imtiaz medal by the Government of Pakistan for his winning achievements.
