Disabilities, in some people bring out the best of their talents, while others get boggled down if put in similar situations. Zulfiqar is one such soul who refused to let his handicap deter him in the pursuance of his goals. Zulfiqar choose Aquatics to be his past time indulgence, while studying at ACELP, a special education center. In 1992, Zulfiqar Nooruddin was selected as a member of the National Squad for the Summer Special Olympic Games USA where he represented Pakistan. In 1995 Zulfiqar Nooruddin won for Pakistan, 2 gold in 25M Free style and Breast Stroke swimming competition at the special Olympics World games in USA.
