Jan. 9. Along with Gokhale and others received Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi on his arrival at Bombay.

Jan. 14. Presided over a garden party at Bombay given by members. of Gurjar Sabha, in honor of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Kasturba.

Feb. 7. Elected Member of All India Muslim League.

Feb. 13. Inaugurated Bombay Muslim Students' Union; exhorted Muslim students to develop a disciplined and moral life and to take interest in politics without indulging in agitational politics.

March 5. Moved a Resolution for the construction of a Gokhale memorial at a meeting presided over by Lord Willingdon, Bombay Government.

March 8. In a letter to Wazir Hasan, proposed that the next All India Muslim League session be held in Bombay.

May 30. In reply to Fazalbhoy Currimbhoy protested against his sudden change of mind vis-a-vis holding of the All India Muslim League session in Bombay; stressed that it should be held in Bombay if the All India Muslim League Council so decided.

July 4. Participated in the function at Taj Mahal Hotel, to celebrate the appointment of Bahadurji as Advocate General. He also was the first Indian to be appointed to the post.

Oct. In a letter to Times of India, pleaded that Indian National Congress and All India Muslim League should meet at one place to confer on the future of India ; desired that the next All India Muslim League session be held in Bombay.

Nov. 6. Participated in the funeral procession of Sir Firoz Shah Mehta. At a meeting seconded by Dr. Khare's Resolution "the irreparable loss caused by his death".

Nov. 10. His invitation to hold the next session at Bombay was approved of by All India Muslim League Council by 49 to 30 votes.

Nov. 11. Appealed to Muslim leaders and people to "rally round the flag of the All India Muslim League" in order to create a united front and keep pace with "Hindu friends". Dispelled the All India Muslim League-Indian National Congress merger idea.

Nov. l9. Wrote to Cassamalli praising All India Muslim League constitution; attended a meeting to make arrangements for the ensuing All India Muslim League session at Bombay.

Nov. 20. A joint letter by him, Mitha and Jairazbhoy was published in The Bombay Chronicle, which recounted his negotiations with Mehta and others on the next All India Muslim League session. Conceded Mehta's demand to maintain the All India Muslim League's non-controversial character and to do nothing contrary to its objectives.

Dec. 26. As Vice President of the Indian National Congress Reception Committee received S.P.Sinha, President elect of the Indian National Congress Wacha; the President was also present.
