| EVP or 'Electronic Voice Phenomena' is an established method used for 'capturing' spirit voices. There are a few stories circulating to describe the beginnings of EVP but the most popular seems to be the one which tells of a gentleman who took his tape recorder outside with him to record bird song. When he later listened to the tape, he was astonished to discover eerie voices amongst the bird song and embedded within the static that were not present or audible to him at the time. The location was quiet and devoid of other people, talking or otherwise.
This was to be the beginning of a phenomena which has caught on globally. There are many methods, some of which I will describe below, used for conversing with spirits or picking up bits and pieces of whatever the spirits want to say, but one is more popular than the rest and seems to yield good results for most, this is simply the use of a tape recorder or dictation device and a brand new unused cassette tape. |
