This Home Page is dedicated to those family descendants seeking their roots in Germany, Ireland, and England.  The DARMSTADTS probably arrived about 1852 and settled in Cleveland.  Hundreds of descendents may live and thrive there today.  Following the Irish famine, the ROCHE and BLAKE families arrived in New York about the same time, 1852-56. The MARTIN family from Newcastle arrived about 1893 and settled in Livingston, Park County, Montana. The DARMSTADTS were metal workers/blacksmiths in Hessen, and became cobblers, boilermakers, actors, soldiers, and businessmen in Cleveland.  The MARTINS were also blacksmiths, miners, railroad mechanics, and airmen.  Pvt Wm ROCHE, "E" Co., 1st US Cavalry, died with his boots on with the Lt. S. M. Rains Party at the Battle of Cottonwood Canyon, Idaho 3 July, 1877.  Bridget ROCHE nee BLAKE then raised two families at Ft. Walla Walla, her own and her daughter Joanna MULLIS' four girls.

If there is a ROCHE,  BLAKE, MULLIS, McNAMARA, MURRAY ,  DARMSTADT, LINK,  WESTBROOK, PINTAR, JACOBSON, RILEY, BUELLERWELL, EMBLETON or MARTIN out there searching for their roots I hope this page helps you find your family.
