| Background Staid is a pure blood, although he doesn't mind those who are not. Both his parents are wizards, but they're divorced, and he lives with his dad during the summer and occasionally visits his mom in Scotland. He's attended Hogwarts from year one, but has been rather shy and withdrawn, until recent events drew him out of his seclusion. He had quite the nasty curious streak growing up, and, growing up with his cousin Nelan, that was always a pitfall. That curiosity, however, has only increased with age, unfortunately; he never fails to stick his nose where it doesn't belong. |

| Info. Staid has kind of toned down after recent events... Though he's still touchy about his first name, so unless you want to be hexed quicker than you can say furnunculous, might not want to bring it up around him. He despises Quidditch and will never be found at a game, even if Slytherin is playing. He thinks it's a stupid waste of time and cracks on it every chance he gets. Though recently you might not hear it, because he's been more concerned with staying out of Nelan's way and at the same time trying to figure out exactly how to restore him to his normal self. |
| Special powers/abilities None whatsoever. Staid is about as normal as you can get, well after you get past the whole being a wizard thing at any rate. He is very skeptical of anyone with abnormal qualities, and will usually require proof before he even believes them. He knows that some spectacular beings exist, having grown up in the wizarding world, but somehow never thinks of himself as ever having to come face to face with them. |
