Gaming, In My Opinion
This may be a little familiar to those who are members of the Legends Alliance forums. Fighting the Losing Battle was my bi-monthly column about how Nintendo attempts to differentiate themselves from their competitors and outshine them. Unlike most gamers around, I am not biased towards one company but, as you may have guessed from this site’s title bar, I am an avid Nintendo fan. Despite this, I cannot deny that they appear to be fighting a losing battle against such corporate giants as Sony and Microsoft, but I admire the effort that Nintendo put into that fight.
Most gaming columns are by experts in the industry, often with a grudge against a particular game or software company. September 2004: Peripheral Vision– As Nintendo reveals the long-awaited ‘new game product’, this column looks at the peripherals that Nintendo pioneered. July 2004: The Nostalgia Card – How Nintendo uses its back catalogue to appeal to gamers old and new June 2004: The Battle of the Handhelds – An initial look at the unveiling of the Nintendo DS |
